Out of my other 4 tattoos, this is my first art piece.
To put it simply; it represents the embracement of everything in it’s entirety. I believe we must love and embrace things not just for their light, and beauty, but also for their darkness and parts of them that aren’t so easy to love… because without it we wouldn’t truly know how to appreciate the good. Flaws should not decrease anyone’s worth. In fact, I find that they do quite the contrary.
If you’re going to love someone, love them entire. Loving them in half will only leave you absent of what it is you truly need.
I chose to keep the wolf because it’s an animal I adore and respect. It’s fierce, protective and terrifying, yet beautiful and loyal, loving & caring all at once. Among other things of course.
Let the healing begin!
