So basically I’ve been through a lot these past through months, and in September it just kind of all caught up to me. I was hospitalized for mental health related issues (and then medication reactions) throughout September and the beginning of October.
So, I’ve been out and doing so much better, actually fighting for my life and fighting my “demons” and I wanted a reminder of this happiness that I feel now, and the reminder to stay strong when the demons try and come out.
It’s based off a Ted Mckeever character because before I even knew her character backstory I instantly connected to her as a bad ass demon-fighter for my story, and it’s also of course a Brand New reference as well, because they’ve been getting me through tough times for 10 plus years now. So my little reminder shows off my nerdier comic side and still references Brand New as well.

It’s made to be nearly illegible. Just like Helena Ravenclaw says “If you have to ask, you’ll never know. If you know, you need only ask”

These are the bones found in your arm. The Ulna and the Radius. I had the artist design it to look like old 1920’s medical textbook anatomy pictures. Where everything had to be hand drawn and so precise.
I have always had a fascination with the whole “I feel it deep down to my bones”. Like to feel something with that much conviction and to believe in it that much is just really exhilarating.
I love the human skeleton. I think it’s awesome to be aware of all of our bones. It’s cool and trippy to see a model of the human skeletal structure and think, man I have that inside of me.
Also I firmly believe that you should be as strong as your bones, and your bones are pretty strong. Read about it because it’s really interesting. I strive to be as strong as my bones, especially now in my life where I’m having these certain struggles and I’m losing faith in myself.

This tattoo is permanent shout out to my favourite band, Paramore. I’ve listened to them since I was 13 and they’ve been a pretty vital part in my growing up. Through everything they’ve been there. Music is the coolest thing in the world. Paramore, after all this time, I’m Still Into You.
