My boyfriend and I had a tattoo date with one of our good friends Sanchez at Hunter & Fox in Sydney. I’m on the left and he’s on the right.

It’s for my Papa who was in the Navy.
In 2006 I moved out of my parents house and into my grandparents house. Ever since I was 1, my Papa had battl

ed cancer and I knew starting when I moved in that I wanted an anchor tattoo for him. The summer of 2009, going into sophomore year, my Papa passed away from several different kids of cancer. I remember that night like it was yesterday. After living with him for several years, this hit me very hard. I couldn’t stand living in that house without him there. And I moved back home. He was like my second father. He called me his daughter, not his grand daughter. I miss him more and more everyday.
3 and a half years later, here I am with this beautiful tattoo. I spent so much of my life trying to find the perfect anchor. To know me was to know how much I love anchors and that I wanted this tattoo. And going through all the pain was completely worth it.

this is the beginning of a whole doctor who left arm, i plan to close the entire arm with tattoos of that theme.

the little lines represents how many times i saw the silence (also my mom’s birthdate) and the circle means “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” in gallifreyan.

the doctor was always there for me when i needed, so i felt i owe him, and there’s nothing best than showing it in your skin.

sorry, i did the circle today so it’s really red. i’ll post a better one some weeks later.

This is my first and only tattoo, at the moment. I got at Seven seas tattoo, in San Diego by an awesome guy called Thor. I got it for my 24th birthday as a present to myself.
The quote has a lot of meaning to me.
