The photo you see here is a work in progress. This was from my first appointment which took about 2.5 hours. The Kirin was shaded completely and color will be added come 31 January. I am a fan of Asian mythology and felt that the Kirin had a powerful enough meaning and presence to be tattooed. My artist and I are in constant communication when it comes to the design for the rest of the sleeve. I definitely look forward to what he has drawn up the next time I walk in.
