I got this tattoo as a representation of my family, and each flower of the bouquet symbolizes a member. The stargazer, my favorite flower, represents myself. Surrounding it are roses, orange blossoms, and baby’s breath. The roses represent my mom. My mom and I grew rose gardens when I was little, which are still some of my best memories with her. The orange blossoms represent my dad. My dad learned from his father how to grow fruit trees, especially orange trees. He then passed that on to me. Finally, the baby’s breath represents my sister. My sister is beautiful and delicate (physically and emotionally), and entirely essential to my family, just as baby’s breath is to a bouquet.
