Mono no aware: The transience of the (cherry) blossoms, the extreme beauty and quick death, has often been associated with mortality.
I’ve always found the Buddhistic influence/ Japanese symbolism of the cherry blossoms really intriguing and meaningful, not to mention the flower itself is a fave of mine for its simple yet sweet appearance.
