So these are my first two tattoos- most people seem a bit taken aback when I tell them that, because they’re such big pieces in very high-visibility locations (and I’m military to boot). But that was the idea. The roses on my left arm represent my wife and I (our last name is Rose), and I have ‘always’ written in her handwriting with it, because we’ve been in love for almost ten years now, and always will. I got the piece done in a watercolor style because it’s something I haven’t seen a lot of, and it really stuck out to me.
The lighthouse on my right arm represents the storm that is my life, and the stability that family and friends have always helped provide no matter how rough things got. No matter how crazy life gets, I know there are people who will help guide me in the right direction.
