My first tattoo for my 19th birthday :D It’s a quote by Emily Dickinson that I found on tumblr (ironyyyyyyy) and I LOVE it for many reasons: first because i’m a writer, and I love poetry, and Dickinson is a poet. I also love quotes. Secondly I think it represents something about myself that I tend to do: be optimistic, dwell in the possibility of good things happening no matter how slim the chance of a good outcome is. Many people have told me this tattoo is such a “me” thing, which makes me love it even more :) Done in London Ontario at True Love Tattoo by Sean/Shawn (….sorry)
