This is my Koi Fish tattoo I got on 1/21/12 It’s my second tattoo & was done by Chris Hamilton at Peter’s Tattoo shop. I got this tattoo because In Japanese, koi is a homophone for another word that means “affection” or “love”; koi are, therefore, symbols of love and friendship. Me & my mom when she got better & beat Leukemia were supposed to go get tattoos together, but she didn’t so I got this tattoo for my mom. At some point I plan to add a flower next to it with her initials in it.
