This is Eudi, my Eudocima Materna moth; right after he was done on October 9th, 2012 (Columbus Day) as a late 19th birthday present.
These specific types of moths, are part of a very large family, and they are also found in many areas of the world, but more commonly in tropical Asia, Australia and New Zealand; all of which I’ve wanted to travel to since I can remember.
They are also renowned citrus pests, and because I had a strange addiction to citrus growing up, and have always had a special place in my heart for the moth, I found it more than fitting.
I hope to travel to world, and I’m very humble to not only have it as my first tattoo, but to have him keep me company in my travels.
