These are mine (left) and my father’s (right) tattoos.
When I was a little girl, I couldn’t pronounce ‘girl’ correctly, so when my great uncle would call me a little boy I would correct him saying “nu uh, I’ma gir!”… Years later, my father and I came across a cartoon, Invader Zim, that we both fell in love with, especially a character called Gir. Its been an inside joke between us, and we’ve been planning on getting these tattoos for a while.
Mine is brand new, his is a few months old.
