I’ve come so far from where I was a year ago. This is my daily reminder to stay strong, and that things will be okay. As you can see, there are still prominent scars on my arm, as well as elsewhere on my body. A year ago I was in the mental hospital for suicide attempt and I’m 195 days free of self harm. I’m on the road to recovery and I’m really proud of myself. This tattoo is a representation of everything I’ve been through and more importantly, everything I’ve overcome.
