I’m usually not one to talk about the meaning behind any of my tattoos, but this one means a lot to me. I’ve lived with my mom and my aunt for most of my life, and they both have a terminal illness called Gardner’s Syndrome. It affects them both very differently, my aunt worst than my mom, but my mom has been told she has weeks to live twice and has been on chemo-therapy or radiation every year for the past 20 years. She’s still kicking ass though. Neither of them have really been able to live their life to the fullest because of the disease, and have always taught me to make every moment count. I plan to live by that statement for the rest of my life.
