I come from an animal loving family. My mother especially, she can’t even hurt an ant. (She actually literally feeds them) We always had many animal companions in our home, I grew up surrounded by various kinds of animals, and the most of all, cats.

My mother currently feeds over 40 cats in our backyard back home and I’m feeding and caring for over 5 cats here. (plus I feed strays whenever I can) We’re literally the textbook definition of crazy cat ladies.

What I’m trying to say here is that, my handsome little man, Safran, was a very special cat.

Even though I have loved and cared for tons of animals, lived with some for extended years (longer than I did with Safran), I never loved a cat as much as I loved him. We had a special bond.

Losing him unexpectedly really shook me up, I haven’t been very well for the last 2 months. He was my best friend and I miss him everyday.

Now, my friend Cansu Olga designed this for me, and tattooed it on me yesterday as a gift and tribute to my boy.

I feel a little better knowing that I always have a piece of him with me now.

Rest in peace little man.
