This was a $60 “get what you get.” They do them any time, any day. You just tell them that’s what you want, and they let you pick a word out of a fish bowl. And even though it’s random, they still try to incorporate it into your personal style/tastes.
I wanted to get a random tattoo because in a way I felt like it put out the “you only live once” idea, and to have fun with things in life.
Red Room has a lot of great, friendly artists. I recommend this shop to anybody who enjoys vintage style art… Or wants to take their chances with a random tattoo ;)

This is my second tattoo. Done at Trinity Tattoo Studio by owner Tommy Alvarez. I’ve always had a facination for sailboats and recently my when my best friend passed away in car accident due to a drunk driver, I had to get this. We always spent the majority of our time up at the lake by our houses, every time I look at this, I’m reminded of him. Rest Easy, Zackery.

I got this tattoo because I love the song it’s from. It’s a song by Bayside called It’s Not A Bad Little War. The quote says “If fate should fail us, then hope will see us through” along with the Bayside bird that they use.

I was really skeptical about getting tatted on my ribs because my artist said that on a scale of 1 - 10 it would hurt like a 12, but it was totally worth it!

I got this done at Orange Tattoo Company in Annapolis, Maryland by Brady.

Most recent tattoo, number 4. It was a spur of the moment type thing, while I was home on leave after coming back from Deployment in Iraq for 6+ months. The quote and placement just seemed very fitting, it was done for free by an apprentice (forgot his name..) at Industrial Tattoo in Harrison, NJ. I’m very pleased with his work and a month later I’m just as happy about it. =]

So, long story short, my super awesome cousin decided to get me a belated “congrats on being one of the only people in our family to not screw up and actually graduate from college with honors” tattoo.

Having an obsession with all things kittie and Day of the Dead related, that tattoo offer turned into this “Dia de los Gatos” sugar skull cat on my inner arm :)

I looked through loads of designs but this one is the only one that caught my eye and is a little present to myself before i get my big one to start my sleeve next month

I’ve wanted for approx 4 years to get “mumble” from the movie “Happy Feet” tattooed on me to go along with my sons name which I had previously tattooed on me. I love emperor penguins & the movie came out on DVD right after my son was born (who’s now 5) I thought the movie was amazing between the penguins, the music & the story so we played it a lot & he would sit in his baby seat & watch & listen so its always reminded me of him. The problem I had (as much as I wanted it) I had NEVER seen cartoon work I liked until about 6 months ago when Keith Kuzara from Pirates Alley Tattoo in Lockport NY posted a pic on his web page of “Stitch” that he did on someone..I was blown away & had complete confidence that he could get the job done. When I presented the idea he was completely stoked about it & that made me feel even better. He not only made this come to life for me but exceeded my expectations. The shop is inviting & the staff is so friendly, each time I visit I like it more & more. Hands down Keith rocks & couldn’t have made me happier!

I did this piece on the very last open space this man had. And it’s really incredible that this tattoo took the spot it did. It’s a portrait of his son who passed away in Iraq several years ago.

I used the natural skin tones so it could be ingrained in him, truly a part of him.
