I had this done at my most recent visit to NYC, on a whim. The owl has always been my animal, if there is such a thing. Poised and levelheaded, the owl represents how I perceive myself; the shading and the red made me really happy.

This is my first tattoo. It’s an Albertosaurus skeleton, which is a species of dinosaur that’s native to the province of Canada I was born in. I moved to New Zealand with my parents when I was nine and I’ve been living there for the last 10 years, so when I came back to Calgary for a holiday a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to get a tattoo that symbolised my heritage (in a fairly original/bad ass way). My tattoo artist (whose name has unfortunately slipped my mind at the moment) did an amazing job, and the whole thing was over in just over an hour. Didn’t even hurt that bad either! Couldn’t be happier :)

I have been obsessed w/ the Illuminati & Freemasonry since i was introduced to it 4-5 years ago. So i decided to get this tattoo. The opposite side of the moon is going to have the freemason compass once i get more money. :)

This is my (s)aint tattoo. It’s inspired from a song by Marilyn Manson, of the same name. The idea behind the song is affirmed be the line, hold the ‘s’ because I am an aint. The tattoo to me, is a symbol of reality, and realizing that I’m not perfect. It’s also a homage to Manson, as his music has had a large impact on my life.

Walk by Faith is something everyone should follow. Your faith is what you believe in and it doesn’t matter if it falls under religion or not. You’re following what you believe in and what your heart tells you to do. Don’t look at others to see what’s in, rather be yourself and create your own person.
