Mom and Daughter Chickadee’s

My tattoo is on the left, and my mom’s on the right.
We decided to combine some elements of our life together to create these tattoos!
Every since I was born, my favorite nickname my mom has given me has been her “Chickadee". She’s called me it my whole life, and it’d be weird if she didn’t call me that at least once a day.
The flowers are Crabapple Blossoms. When my mom and dad divorced, we lived in this apartment, and every spring, the Crab Apple Trees would bloom and the petals would go everywhere. We always called it pink snow, because they covered EVERYTHING and it’s my favorite memory of a time where it was just my mom, brother and I. There are also three flowers on both of us to represent my brother, mother, and I.
I could not have asked for a better artist and tattoo experience for my first tattoo. Ryan did an amazing cover up on my mom in February(which I will post later), and my mom is going back to get a portrait of our dog soon. And I plan on getting all of my future tattoos done by her.
