This is my second tattoo done by Dane Snyder at Golden Axe Tattoos in London Ontario. I get all my work done by him because he’s one kickass mother fucker. I got it because I’ve loved Star Wars since I was a little kid and I’m a huge geek (my other tattoo is a classic Nintendo themed sleeve).

I got this to represent my great aunt Violet Jessop, who managed to survive the sinkings of the Titanic and Brittanic

She was one unlucky woman who had a knack for survival. She managed to pass both those qualities on to me. Done by Andrew Matela and Billy Cannon’s in Austin TX.

My only one so far. It translates “just be”, which means that life is worth living even though it has no purpose beyond itself.

This insight has become the “wisdom” of my life. There are grim times to come, but as a tattoo this thought will be with me.

I live in germany, that’s why it’s written in my language.

I got this tattoo a few days ago. It is for my Granddad who passed away Tuesday January 10th 2012. It says “You still live on in my father’s eyes” and it is written in my own handwriting. It is the lyrics to Autumn by Paolo Nutini, which my brother and I sang at my Granddad’s Memorial.

The image was taken just after the tattoo was done and just before the camera ran out of battery (hence the quality). The amazing Gino Dartnall from Nocturnal TattooClub in Bournemouth did it, and I had such a nice time getting tattooed there! Great talent and great atmosphere! Will be going back in a couple of weeks to get some final touches on the camera.

The camera I got tattooed is the first camera I ever got, a tiny Mycro II, after my great-grandfather. I want to be a photographer and I have wanted this tattoo for about two years, so I was so happy to finally have found someone I trusted enough to do it (actually found NTC through a post here on FYT!).

This is my Third tattoo. The sanskrit writing on my wrist means freedom and liberation, which was originally there as they are two very meaningful words to me. Then i recently carried out a mehndi lotus flower design up my arm it’s not completely finished yet because my tattoo artist and i haven’t decided how we would like to finish it. I have an amazing tattoo artist called Kim Angel and i’m very happy with it.
