This is my first tattoo and will always be a very special one to me. In the fortune it says,”Chinese food is like a kiss. W.H.” This tattoo is a memorial to my grandfather. The last conversation we had before he past he said,”Chinese food is like a kiss. You always want more but it never lasts.” In the three years he has been gone this saying has always stuck with me, and now I have it forever. The quotes mean more than just one thing. Its about everything i’ve ever thought was important or beautiful that i’ve read or heard.

I saw this phrase on a picture of someone on tumblr and I realized it described my life perfectly. Basically what it means is that nothing is greater than me. Nothing can bring me down. There is nothing that I can’t overcome because I know I have the strength within myself. I’ve gone through so much with my family which lead me to get this tattoo. In this life I am infinite.

After my dad died I found a picture similar to this tattoo I got in his room. I decided to get it in suva, fiji by a local named Alex Numez. I have it on my back and it means so much to me.

The whole concept behind this tattoo is from an Agnostic Front song called Blind Justice. It’s one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands, so it just made sense to get this. Michael Vasquez did this piece, and I’m 100% satisfied.

What it means to me. Its pretty self explanatory, be true to yourself. be true to yourself regardless at the end of the day all you have is yourself. People are only going to know what you tell them. Stay true to who you are regardless what ever that may be good or bad if you do something do it whole heartily. Always be real, Always be true.

I wanted a tattoo for three years, but I couldn’t bring myself to just do it. I was kind of a baby about the needle thing. Well one day, I was off work an hour early and didn’t have to be at school for another three hours. So instead of going home, I drove myself to get a tattoo! I knew what I wanted, so it wasn’t a long process. Now I’m glad I have the “be free” tattoo, because I’ve gotten an anchor on my leg since then too! That one symbolizes my man who is in the Navy, and far away from me.
They weren’t lying when they said tattoos are addicting.. I have an appointment next week to get my favorite quote on my side… “When the power of love exceeds the love for power, the world will finally know peace.”

I got this tattoo from a friend. I choose it because it’s timeless, I love it and it’s very girly. And I’ll never get sick of it because I never see it! I’m very happy with it!
